Traveling with Wine in Hand

There is no better way to travel than through beautiful wine country with a glass in hand. It is absolutely fantastic to see where the grapes are produced, the actual production facility, the wine catacombs themselves, and then enjoy the final product right on sight. I love talking with the wine makers themselves to see all of what they put into their craft. It is a beautiful thing.

One of my favorite times was when we were wine tasting in Buenos Aires. It was a beautiful countryside with rolling hills and the winery itself was set up on one of the hills. It literally looked like a sight from a painting. It was gorgeous. Then wine was fantastic too from their dry reds to their sweet whites all of it was paired masterfully with the 5 course meal. That trip to Argentina still has lasting effects today. The wine tasting in Buenos Aires also brings me back to my wife and Is engagment story.

On the night we got engaged, we went to a Mediterranean restaurant and they happened to have our favorite white wine from our trip to Buenos Aires. We ordered a few bottles of it and enjoyed it with our friends that were celebrating with us. It was a fantastic night that wine added to the fun of the evening. It not only brought us back to our trip to South America, but it also allowed us to make new memories with that dear old friend of a wine. It was a special occasion shared with friends and what made it more special was the wine we shared. We will never forget that night or any night to come when we share a Argentinian wine together.
