If as a child you were always mesmerized the classic films because of the grace and style of the actresses and wanted to look like them, you should consider creating a Brigitte Bardot style. Brigitte Bardot was a French film and model icon in the 50’s and 60’s starring in films such as: Viva Maria! And the 1963 cult film, Contempt. But most young women were familiar with her because of the mark she left in the fashion industry. Brigitte started many fashion trends back in the day. One being the Bardot neckline, this is a wide open neck that exposes both shoulders. She made it this neckline popular by using it with jumpers and knitted sweaters. She also made the choucroute (Sauerkraut), which is a type of bee hive style hairdo. During this era of fashion it was not lady like to be to revealing with your body but Brigitte Bardot changed all that by wearing bikini’s and making them popular among female young adults and teens. So the Brigitte Bardot style most certainly made its make in the fashion world.
