I was planning a trip to see my grandchildren and I was so excited to find a good book to take with me. It is a delightful story about a flying pig and a boy named Jes who go together on a wonderful adventure to Australia. My girlfriend Amber is the most amazing woman. I’ve loved her for so many years; I even waited it out when she was dating another guy when we first met. I just knew she was the one for me! When she was finally single, I pretty much threw myself at her, and it was as pitiful as it sounds. I don”t care, I’m not too macho to go after true love. So of course when her birthday comes along, I try to find her the best gifts I can. Not super expensive, but things that match her interests so she knows that I listen to her, and know what she likes. For example, she is obsessed with a certain band. I tease her that the bass player is the third person in our relationship because she loves him.
